고등학교 국악 감상 지도내용의 문제점과 개선 방향
본 연구는 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 고등학교 음악교과서에 수록된 국악 감상의 지도내 용을 상세하게 고찰하면서 문제점을 알아보고 올바르게 지도할 수 있는 개선 방향을 모색하 였는데, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 음악교과서의 국악 감상곡은 궁중음악에서 풍류음악과 민속음악 및 의식음악을 모두 포함 하고 있으며 특히 수제천, 가곡, 산조, 종묘제례악에 비중을 두고 있다. 국악 감상의 지도내용 은 악기편성, 악기의 음색, 연주 형태, 한배의 변화, 형식, 장단 등에 중점을 두었고, 역사ㆍ문화적 배경과 관련된 내용은 거의 제시하지 않았다. 음악교과서에 수록된 국악 감상 지도내용의 문제점은 일부 악곡이 포함되지 않은 다양성 의 결여이며, 대취타ㆍ여민락 등 악곡에 대한 정확한 설명이 미흡하다. 가곡의 형식과 산조 에서 농현과 농음에 대해 용어의 개념이 모호하게 소개되었고, 감상에서 가락선 악보와 도상 자료의 활용이 부족하다. 국악 감상의 문제점을 해결하고 올바르게 지도할 수 있는 개선 방향은 다양한 국악 감상곡 의 선정 및 수록이다. 반차도와 현행 대취타와의 비교 및 여민락 계통의 음악 등 감상에서 악곡에 대한 정확한 설명이 제시되어야 한다. 그리고 감상곡과 관련된 형식과 농현․농음 및 시김새 등 용어의 개념을 명확하게 제시하면서 실제 음악적 특징을 파악하는데 도움이 되도록 한다. 음악적 이해 제고를 위한 가락선 악보와 역사ㆍ문화적 맥락 지도를 위한 도상 자료를 적극적으로 활용하여 악곡에 내재한 특징과 음악문화를 이해하는데 비중을 두어야 한다.
Problems and Improvement Directions of the Korean Music Appreciation Instruction in High Schools
This study aimed to identify problems and seek improvement directions by closely examining the teaching contents of Korean music appreciation included in the high school music textbooks under the 2015 revised curriculum. The findings of the study are as follows. Musical pieces for Korean music appreciation in the music textbooks included court music, pungryu music, folk music, and ritual music with particular emphasis on Sujecheon, gagok, sanjo, and Jongmyojeryeak. The teaching contents of Korean music appreciation centered on instrumentation, tones of instruments, performing forms, changes of hanbae(tempo), styles, and jangdan but hardly presented contents related to the historical and cultural background. Problems with the teaching contents of Korean music appreciation in the music textbooks were a lack of diversity that did not include some pieces of music and a lack of accurate understanding of music such as Daechwita and Yeominrak. The concepts of terminology were vaguely introduced about nonghyeon and nongeum in sanjo and the form of gagok, and the use of garakseonbo(a melodic contour notation) and iconographic materials in music appreciation was insufficient. The improvement direction that can solve the problems of Korean music appreciation and provide proper teaching is to select and include various pieces of Korean music for appreciation. An accurate explanation of music should be presented in the comparison between Banchado and present-day Daechwita and in the appreciation of the music of the Yeominrak family. In addition, the forms of musical pieces for appreciation and the concept of terms such as nonghyeon, nongeum, sigimsae, and the like should be clearly presented to help students understand musical characteristics. An emphasis should be placed on comprehending the characteristics and music culture inherent in the pieces of music by actively utilizing garakseonbo for enhancing musical understanding and iconographic materials for teaching the historical and cultural contexts.
