스크래치를 활용한 초등 국악 창작 수업 방안 탐구
본 연구의 목적은 2022 개정 교육과정에 적용할 수 있는 스크래치를 활용한 초등학생 대 상 국악 창작 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 학교 수업에 적용하여 수업 활용 가능성을 확인하는 것이다. 수업 목표는 스크래치를 활용하여 3소박 4박 두 장단의 육자배기 토리 노래 만들고 발표하기이며 총 4차시로 구성하였다. 교육부가 강조하는 “학습자 스스로가 문제 해결할 수 있는 자기 주도성을 통한 창의성 교육”이 가능하도록, 창의적 문제 해결 과정인 컴퓨팅 사고 과정으로 수업을 구성하였다. 또한, 육자배기토리, 소박 및 박, 말붙임새에 대한 이해 및 활용 을 할 수 있도록 수업 도구를 개발하였으며, 국악 실음 창작이 가능하도록 가야금과 장구 소리를 스크래치에 적용했다. 연구를 통해 개발한 4차시 수업을 학교현장에 적용한 결과 스 크래치를 활용한 국악 창작 수업이 가능하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 수업 전 국악 창작 수업에 대해 부정적인 생각을 하고 있던 학생들이 개발된 수업을 듣고 국악 창작 수업에 대 한 즐거움과 자신감이 생긴 것 역시 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 개발된 수업이 2022 개정 음악 과 교육과정에서 강조하고 있는 창작 영역의 성취기준을 이룰 수 있음을 확인하였다.
A Study on Korean Traditional Music Creation Class Using Block Coding Scratch
The purpose of this study is to develop a Korean traditional music creation education program for elementary school students using Scratch that can be aligned with the 2022 revised curriculum and to confirm its feasibility by applying it to school classes. The goal of the class was to use Scratch to create and present a Yukjabaegi tori song in two cycles of jangdan with a four-beat rhythm consisting of three sub-beats, spanning a total of 4 class sessions. The class was structured as a computational thinking course, a creative problem-solving process, to enable “creativity education through self-direction that allows learners to solve problems on their own,” as emphasized by the Ministry of Education. In addition, teaching tools were developed to aid learners in understanding and utilizing Yukjabaegitori, sub-beat(Sobak) and beat, and Malbuchimsae. The sounds of Gayageum and Janggu were applied to Scratch to enable the creation of authentic Korean traditional music. As a result of applying the 4 sessions developed through research to the elementary school setting, it was confirmed that traditional Korean music creation classes using Scratch were feasible. Although there were many students who had negative thoughts about the Korean traditional music creation class before the class, it was also confirmed that after taking 4 sessions, they gained enjoyment and confidence in the Korean traditional music creative class. In addition, it was confirmed that the developed class meets the achievement standards in the creative domain emphasized in the 2022 revised music curriculum.
