국악 활동을 통한 진로교육의 방향 탐색
본고에서는 학교 진로교육의 목표를 달성하기 위한 방법으로 국악 활동을 통한 진로교육 의 방향을 탐색하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 2015 개정 교육과정에 반영된 진로교육 의 특징을 알아보고, 음악교과서에 구현된 진로교육 내용을 분석함으로써 학교급별로 진로교 육 단계에 따라 국악 활동을 통한 진로교육이 일관성 있게 이루어질 수 있도록 방향을 탐색 하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교급별로 발달 단계에 따라 관련된 진로교육의 영역 과 그 내용의 심화 정도에 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 진로교육은 음악 교과와 창의 적 체험활동을 서로 보완하여 이루어짐을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 초․중․고등학교의 음악교과 서에 언급된 진로교육 내용은 매우 적었으며, 학교급에 따라 중점을 둔 영역이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 학교급별로 국악 활동을 통한 진로교육 방향을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 초등학 교에서는 음악 교과와 창의적 체험활동을 보완하여 국악 활동으로 진로교육 요소를 강조하 도록 재구성하였다. 중학교에서는 자유학기제와 연계하여 학생들이 자신들의 흥미, 적성에 따라 자기주도적으로 주제를 선정하고 수업을 계획, 실행하였다. 고등학교에서는 고교학점제 와 연계하여 적성과 진로에 따라 자신에게 맞는 과목을 선택하고 관심 직업, 전공에 대한 구체적인 정보를 탐색하도록 내용을 재구성하였다. 본고는 진로교육의 한 방안으로 국악 활동을 통한 진로교육의 방향을 제시하였으며, 본고 의 연구 내용이 활용되기를 기대한다. 또한 본 연구 내용을 토대로 국악 활동을 통한 진로교 육이 활성화되었으면 한다.
Examining the Direction for Career Education through Korean Music Activities
This paper aims to examine the direction for career education through Korean music activities as a means of achieving the goals of school career education. To this end, it explored the traits of the career education reflected in the 2015 revised national curriculum and analyzed the content of the career education embodied in music textbooks, thus constructing content that could elicit consistent career education through Korean music activities according to career education stages of each level of education. The findings of the study are as follows. Firstly, it was revealed that there was a difference in the domains of the career education and the depth of its content depending on the developmental stages of each level of education. Secondly, the career education was found to be supplementary to music education and creative experiential activities. Thirdly, it was seen that the content of the career education mentioned in elementary, middle, and high school textbooks was very little, and there were some domains centering on levels of education. Based on these findings, the study proposed the direction for the career education through Korean music activities by levels of school as follows. In elementary schools, the element of career education through Korean music is emphasized by supplementing music curriculum and creative experiential activities. In middle schools, students are advised to choose their own learning themes according to their interests and aptitude, plan, and implement their classes in connection with the free semester. In high schools, students are advised to select courses corresponding to their aptitude and career path in connection with the high school credit system so that they can explore specific information on majors and jobs that interest them. This study presented the direction for career education through Korean music activities as a way of career education. It is expected that the findings of the study would be utilized and give some foundation to the revitalization of career education through Korean music activities.
